The Millers are coming off a pair of wins over the weekend. On a rainy Saturday night, the Millers got excellent pitching from Sean Conrad and Josh Leavens. Not to be out done by his brother, Dan Leavens hit a walk off 2 run HR in the bottom of the ninth to end the scoreless tie and give the Millers (and brother Josh) the victory
On Sunday, the rain and wind made for a long game. Ryan Stephens kept Prescott off balance at the plate and kept the Millers in the game long enough for the cardiac Millers to realize they were playing a game. The Millers strung together a couple of hits and some stolen bases in the 7th to tie the game and then got a 1 out single followed by two 2 out hits to take the lead in the 8th. Josh Leavens closed out the final 2 innings to earn his second win of the weekend
Next game May 23rd, 7:30pm at Menomonie. Have a safe Memorial Day weekend!!
