| NR TOURNEY June 13-15 Congrats to Stillwater for winning the Championship. The Tourney started off with Stillwater beating Ellsworth 9-1 with Stillwater pitcher throwing a no-hitter. The night cap was a fun game to watch. The Mlps Cobras beat Hudson 3-0. Saturday was a full day of baseball. NWS Redhawks played against the Hager City Skeeters. Skeeters winning the game in the bottom of the 7th inning 2-1. Next game was last years Champ Exeland Braves vs St Paul Mudhens. Exeland won 3-0 with a no hitters thrown. The 4pm game was Hudson vs Ellsworth. NR Millers pitch Cody Torkelson took the mound vs Hudson's Paul Johnson. Hudson won 4-0. 6:30pm winners bracket was Stillwater vs Hager City. Stillwater won 10-0. The night cap had it all good teams, a nasty storm coming in and sirens. Mlps Cobras vs Exeland Braves. Cobras rolled past the Braves 5-0 in 5 innings due to weather. On Sunday NWS Redhawks beat St Paul Mudhens 4-1 to move on to the 5th place game were they faced Hudson RiverRats. The Rats came through with a 4-2 vicorty the prize $50 + case of beer. 3rd place game was Exland Braves vs Hager City Skeeters. Braves won 1-0 prize $100 + case of beer. The championship game Stillwater defeated the Cobras 4-1. Stillwater taking home $225 and the Cobras $175. Thank you to all the teams, see you all next year.
